Has come and gone...how was yours? We are very blessed, and had a very enjoyable weekend. We had dinner with Mike's sister this time, and it was wonderful. Big sigh of relief that I didn't have to clean the house this year, and was able to go have a meal, and leave when I wanted. LOL!
We did our usual Black Friday shopping, and it was so much fun. We stayed up all night long, and that is never the plan. We always, always say that "Next year we are going to go home and nap before the 5 am sales start.." and well, we never do. On the Friday after, I had a turkey here, and made a little spread, and it was fabulous. I have pics still to upload of everyone, and everything, but I have been so tired. I hope to look at them soon.
We got our inside decorating done, and now we just got to work on the outside. Lots to do still.
How is your shopping coming along? I want to say that Kate is done, but there is a couple of things I have had my eyes on still. Matt is almost finished. The problem with buying early is you just keep buying. At least that is what I do. The kids' rooms are all cleared out, and ready for older type toys. I have donated so much more this year than we ever normally do, and it feels so good. :)
My boss comes back next week, and I can hardly stand the wait! I am on pins and needles, awaiting her arrival. I told her I won't be able to give her any less than 50 kisses, and hugs. She is amazing, and we are all thrilled her time off is coming closer to an end.
Next up...Christmas parties, school concerts, family gatherings..I am so proud that my kids have held up from getting sick so far this year. I am sure we are still in for it before Christmas, I mean...I can't expect them to not get it, everyone has. I just feel blessed that we have gone as long as we have.
Happy Holidays, Everyone!
