Interesting...

Just got back from seeing Kate's regular ped...he said that he was shocked when he got her radiology report showing pneumonia..but said that he doesn't really believe that is what she has. Say whaaaa?

He said that because she never did have a fever, that he isn't buying it. He said she would be very terribly sick, and I would have just known something was extremely wrong. I asked then what about the xray? It looks like she has it, and he said he feels it is a collapsed pocket from coughing and being irritated. Soooo he wants us to stop her antibiotics today. He feels we are treating a viral infection and she isn't gaining anything from having the amoxicillin. soooo I guess we will need to make that decision.

He also wasn't buying the sinus infection since he said her sinuses won't really grow until she is 3-4 years old. He said hers are about an inch or two long, and kids just don't really get sinusitis at age 1. So....much better report I would say!
