It was more of the same. This time we decided to split up from my mom and sister and let them go do their own thing. They wanted to walk through all of the shops since they hadn't been to Disney. Well, Dee had, but Mom wanted to check out everything. I didn't feel like spending the whole day when there were rides to be rode! LOL!
Mike and I had a blast going on more of the rides with the kids. Matthew became such a pro at waiting in line for the rides he wanted. We spent some good time again just hanging around. I really don't have a lot of memories from this day as it was just so in the middle of the week, and the trip, but I know we took a lot of time out just hanging out in New Orleans Square. We had a nice sit down lunch with just us and the kids, and it was such a relaxing day. I finally had got intelligent and brought along a hotel hand towel with us. I had been meaning to bring one forever. It was to have for us to cool down. I just kept getting it wet from the water fountains, and placed it over Kate's legs, or used it to wipe down our necks and arms. It kept us cool all day long! I don't remember complaining once about being too hot that day at all. BIG Change! LOL!
Matthew and Kate shared their very first churro, and it was a HUGE hit! They were both in churro heaven, there in New Orleans Square. I took some pics, of course they are to come! I know, I keep saying that! I promise I am going to have lots and lots of picture posts when I get the chance. We ended up riding Pirates of the Carribean 3 times in a row beofre we left for the night. Matthew was in heaven!
Once we left, we went to Joe's Crab Shack. If you have never been, GO! It was sooo much fun! We each got our own crab pot, and shared. Matthew ordered a pizza and some corn on the cob. He ate all of his corn, and half of his pizza. Him and I were sharing a side of a booth, and the whole time he was eating, he was eyeing his side of the booth, the bench part. I wasn't going to ask questions, so I just watched. Tenderly, he placed his last piece of pizza down, looked around at us, then grabbed my sweatshirt, made it into a pillow, and he layed down and went to sleep. He was passed out cold within seconds. Poor little dude has been so tired this whole trip. He gets dragged around everywhere, and has got little sleep. He had been looking forward to Joe's all night too. He was looking forward to singing and dancing with everyone, and was sad when he woke to find out he had missed it. Hey..I wasn't going to make him stay awake..I wanted to enjoy my crab without him whining about being tired! Mamma needed a nice meal! I got Mike a shirt out of the gift shop that says, "My waitress gave me crabs" Pretty funny! Dang it is fun here!
More to come...:)
