I feel like it has been a million years since my last post.
Lets see...had a HUGE exam to study for..oddly enough, it was only worth 110 points. Um, for only that few of points, you should have seen the effer. We had to write out a ton of information, do comparisons on different dialysis's you can do, chart out the different parts of the kidneys, and bladder..the list goes on. So yeah, studied super hard for it, and to my surprise, got 109/110 on it. I was pretty happy! I have to admit there was a part of me that was mad I missed one if I was going to get that good of a grade. Seems dumb, I know. It's like if I missed 10, that is one thing, but to miss one? Ooh, I was like awww! But I WAS indeed happy. This sets the precursor for how the rest of them are going to be, and the fact that I am starting off with an A for the exams, that is good. :)
Katelynn cut one more tooth, so if you are counting, that is tooth number 3. She doesn't do things one at a time, when she goes for things, she goes! I looked in her mouth today, and sure enough, #4 will probably be here next week. I can see that the tooth is just right there..the skin is tight and puffy and you can just see that it is bulging. I thought it was weird that she only got one on the bottom before moving to the top..they are supposed to come in pairs, right? Well, I guess so, as she will have both pairs this fast. YAY! Well, I am as happy as I can be for her..I hate seeing her grow so fast, LOL!
She stood alone today. She normally stands at the couch, or at the big chair, facing the chair while she "cruises" and today, she turned around to watch what was on tv, and just let go! She knew I was sitting behind her, so I think she forgot that she was doing this by herself. I was nervous that she was going to try to step forward as she would have face planted, and as soon as the thought went into my head, she did indeed take a step forward, and fell...right onto Riley! He was laying right there, and saved the day. She looked at me like shew, mommy..that was a close one!
She pretty much eats anything these days..she loves her mashed potatoes a lot right now..
Monday I am taking Matt to his ped to have him look at his gait, and his feet. He has been complaining of foot pain since about March, and it is getting progressively worse. He stands with his ankles turned inward so that he is walking on the arch of his foot, (the middle, inside padding to be more specific) instead of on his toes and his heel. This is causing him a great deal of pain that is really bothersome to him. I am hoping we get some good info as this can't just possibly be something he just has to deal with. The boy wakes in the middle of the night 2x a week now in agony, and it takes a lot to calm him down. I don't like to see him in pain!
Going camping at the beach this weekend. Found a great site, and Mom will hang out here and get some of her work done. I need to get away, and get some mommy and Matthew alone time. I am thinking we are going to rent a paddle-boat. Just him and I. The campsite has a lake that is off of the actual beach area..and I think he will really enjoy doing it..at least for a little while. I on the other hand will be tired from being the only one paddling. But that is okay..I am looking forward to it.
Have a great weekend!

Oh H, I'm so sorry to hear this about M's feet. Let me know if you need anything. If they suggest implants, please don't do it! Maybe inserts in his shoes would be a good thing. Poor you guys. I'll say prayers...
Congrats on the test....way to go Mama!
