Pretty much all weekend, and it was so nice. Mike was supposed to go to his mother's 60th birthday party last night, but she came down with a sinus infection, so that has been delayed until she feels better.
We ended up just having a really nice relaxing evening at home. It was lovely. I made pretty much thanksgiving dinner, only with chicken instead and it was delicious. We had all of the trimmings, and ended up having my sister and mom over for it, and it was nice.
Afterwards, we started to carve pumpkins. I got one of mine all done, and Mike is still working on his. He was pretty ambitious picking out a very hard pattern to carve for his, so he needs to finish his tonight.
Today we kind of hung around the house in the morning. I made coffee for the first time in a very long time. I just craved it bad this morning, as it was fall outside with the leaves falling all over the ground. MMMM it was so yummy! I decided to rearrange my kitchen counters a bit, and did a pretty good cleaning in there, and it looks really nice.
We then went out and spent a good portion of the day at Toys R Us. I wanted to see what Matthew liked to play with, and get some ideas of what to tell Santa. There are so many new toys out there this year. So many interactive things to plug into your tv now, it is pretty cool. I think we have alot of ideas now of what we can get him, and what the family can get him, so I am feeling good about that.
We came home and had leftovers for dinner, and it was even better tasting tonight after a long day.
Mike is winding down with Matthew on the Wii playing games with him, and I am going to do a couple of loads of laundry.
Man I hate that weekends go so fast around here. I wish they were always 3 days instead of 2.
