Well, that then some is really only an extra ounce..but she did it! She weight 8 lbs, 4 oz today. Good girl! Her ped was very happy with her and her progress. And, like I had thought he would do, he removed a couple of her strips off her back, and left 2 or 3 of them. They are in spots where he feels the scab will lift if we disrupt them.
He said that they should fall off before the weekend and then we can give the big bath to her. Yippie! She is going to love being pampered like that. I have really been looking forward to bathing her and slathering her in sweet smelling lotion. Mmmmm.
I just really like her ped. He takes so much time with her and I really appreciate him taking the time with her. We are lucky to have been referred to him.
Still having a hard time with the breast feeding. I won't go into it here so much..I am waiting on a lactation consultant to call me. Should be tomorrow. Hopefully we can get this all figured out, and fast.
Matthew has been great again tonight..I would say this is a trend, but I would be asking for trouble saying so. I will just take it when I can get it. better to be safe than sorry! LOL!
I guess if it is nice this weekend, we are going to attempt a pumpkin patch visit. I need to get a baby carrier for her..we stupidly sold the one we had at a garage sale, so hopefully we can get a decent one at a consignment shop so we don't have to pay full price again. I think it would be easier to carry her in that on my chest, vs her carseat..hopefully we can get one! And hopefully it isn't raining. I already told the family heck no we won't go if it is raining..I am not that stupid to take her out. We usually get one decent, really nice warm weekend in October and then that is it until spring, so hopefully this is it!
