My laptop is giving me problems. Oy! I had to try to turn it on no less than 10 times this afternoon. I didn't want to say anything, but it also crapped out on my in Portland once or twice, but I didn't want to believe it was happening.
We have a full warranty on it still, for the next 3 years, that was what it finally came down to us getting with all of the trouble we had with it last year.
so..when I finally got it to turn on, I quickly copied and pasted her birth story to an email to myself and I am sooo happy I have never deleted any of her pics off of my cameras cards. I must get those on Mike's computer asap. Thank goodness for Photobucket too. I always try to upload a ton there in case something has happened to my pics.
We had a great night. I only got up once. Just once. Mike takes care of her before he goes to bed since he likes to stay up later and she didn't wake for me until about 5am. I should have woke sooner to feed her since we are still needing to feed her so much, but if she was fine, why wake her?
Since she has been up though, we have done alot of eating. Her that is..she is napping again, and I should join her, but I will be super groggy if I do. I did that yesterday around this time and was grumpy when Matthew got home. I don't want to be miss grumpy around him!
I stepped on the scale this morning and was shocked at what I saw. I am down 26 and a half pounds! I had to step on it 3 more times. I weigh less than when I got pregnant now. Weird! But I am happy about it, obviously!
Now I just either need to keep doing what I am doing, or keep focusing on losing so that I can really get down in size. I am still wearing some maternity pants, and those maternity bra/tank top things..but have been wearing regular shirts the last couple of days.
I was sooo swollen in the hospital and I got even worse when I was discharged. I think Shrek's feet looked prettier than mine. They got so bad, I had to go buy a pair of hideous looking pepto colored wanna be crocs at Target up there. I couldn't fit in any of the shoes I brought, and I even had remembered from last time how HUGE they got after I was discharged..the shoes were only 3.00 on clearance so they are now in the back of my closet. My ankles were as big as my calves. I have a pic on my phone that I sent my friend and she thought it was hilarious! I am so glad they are back to normal. So all of that weight loss was obviously alot of water. Also, looks like all of that pumping is doing my body good. It feels like my uterus is almost back to natural size! The body is an incredible thing!
Now if I could just get my hands back to normal. Almost there..they aren't keeping me up at night anymore, but it hurts to be on the computer too long..so that is my cue to log off..
More tomorrow!
