Been trying to keep busy with a girlfriend of mine and we are planning a bridal shower for another girlfrind of ours a couple of weeks away. I made all of the favors last night. I am pretty happy with how they turned out. I love to do this kind of stuff, and wish I could do it on the side for money..but that would never ever happen!
We are up to our ears in PINK! I love it so much. I went and got all of the silk flowers yesterday and am anxious to cut the stems now and wrap them, but I won't..I am pretty excited for her to see the whole spread.
We are planning on having a Pampered Chef party for the first portion of the shower, and then all of the little itty bitty edible little dainty bites to eat after, with cake and presents! Can't wait!
Filed for unemployment today. That was easy. I didn't get to find out how much it will be..probably not until next week. I went to the school appointment that I had yesterday and so far it looks like it will be a go! I just have to go back next week to take some placement tests. I showed Mike all of the paperwork, then showed him the price. EEK! I think it is going to be manageable..but hard! It will take alot of compromise..me not working for 2 years, and going to school full time..him taking on ALL of the duties in the morning. He will have to get up so much earlier then he does now..and take care of Matthew, and the new baby once the baby is here..but as long as we keep the eye on the PRIZE, things will all work out. I should be done with school everyday by 2:00pm..and I can have extra time with Matthew then, or use that time to study, run errands, do housework so that when I get him, we have solid time that doesn't involve any of that.
This is all assuming that the financial aid all goes through okay. Mike is already contemplating refinancing the house again so that we can get some extra $ to live on while I am in school and he doesn't feel so stressed with having to be the sole provider. Gone will be the weekends of shopping, shopping, shopping..but it will be so worth it.
I am going to learn how to take care of people and I will LOVE it. I just really hope that I am smart enough to enter the program (lol!) and that the financial aid comes through..Class starts June 3rd..so that is alot of things to do in less than a month. Wish me luck!

Why couldn't you do that on the side? Throw up a little website, throw out some cards at wedding shops.....could be doable!
