Yesterday we just layed low a bit. We were supposed to drive up to Ikea and get Matthew his bed, but I didn't want to spend the 5 hours doing it so we passed on it. I am anxious to get his room done and complete before the baby gets here. I am ready to have him have a more grown up looking room and not so baby-esh. I have been picking up red, white and blue things here and there as I could find them on sale and just stashing them away.
It appears we will be here for a but longer than we anticipated we would be. And that is okay. We need more time to do the things to complete the house. It needs painted, the landscaping needs to be redone including a new lawn, updating the bricked flower beds..etc..I have really great ideas for this place still so we need to follow through with them. It's funny that in the almost 8 years that we have been living here, I have never felt really like it is "home." I don't know why..we do all of the family get togethers here..I am just ready to get that new place and call it home and live there till we can't. But like I said, living here for a bit longer will be fine. Maybe my tune will change once we have the new baby and all is complete with our family.
Last night we went over to Mike's mom's and spent time trying to fix her satellite dish..I brought dinner and grilled some steaks over there along with all of the fixings..it was a nice night. I am still so tired though. We went to bed pretty early too..hopefully we will be able to have another nice relaxing day again. Mike talked about going to garage sales and that may be fun. I am going to watch "The Good Shepard" I am a Matt Damon fan so I am anxious to see it from beginning to end..
