Great Night!

Tonight Mike and I decided to cook together in the kitchen. It was so much fun. We got inspired to make homemade potstickers after watching Throwdown with Bobby Flay last weekend. Yummy is all I got to say! We had so much fun making them. They looked a little bit like potstickers..they were folded all wrong, but they were so yummy. The best I have ever tasted. I think we have alot to improve on..such as rolling the dough out a bit thinner next time..and maybe not adding so much sauce into the meat mixture, as it was really thin, and hard to keep folded into the pocket. Then we made egg flower soup. I am going to make a huge pot of this stuff to just have on hand..it was sooo good! It was so nice to be able to have that time with him..
I am so stuffed now!

Been looking already at new baby bedding. I want to get something a bit more..how do you say..not so froo froo?? I have found what I want if, if, IF we have a girl, and this is the winner so far:

I hope I am not jinxing myself LOL! Mike is like, you shouldn't even look till after you know for sure..yeah yeah. I know..I shouldn't be looking yet..but I want to! I don't want to go the same route I did with Matthew. I want something that is just hmmmm I still don't know what word I am looking for, I guess just a bit more classy? If I cannot afford this. I am going to try to make something like it. I went to Joann's today to scope out the fabrics to see if I could get close. I can get close with the colors, but not the same dragonflies or butterflies. That is okay. I am really going to hunt this stuff down to get it for the best price possible. IF it is a girl! LOL!

Now if it is a boy..I will probably still go the red, or navy blue route. And try to again find something that isn't so cutesy..more like Pottery Barn, without the crazy hefty price tag that comes along with it.

I cut Matthew's hair tonight..I didn't do the best job, but it works. I just trimmed up his bangs, and trimmed the back a bit. It is all still full of waves and curls in the morning..but without all of the craziness that grows above his ears. He looks cute. I am probably not going to let him have super short hair for a while..I like it shaggy..Plus I love to blow dry it! he looks so cute on my counter in the mornings while I blow dry it. I only wish it stayed styled that way all day..and I will not add hairspray to it as well..that would be a bit obsessive! I will try to add a pic tomorrow!
