I told Kate to pick up her Dora sofa in the living room the other day. She always has it out, as they are playing different games, all of the time. It is one of those kids foam pieces of furniture, and it unfolds into a bed. She replied, "I don't want it anymore. I wonder if I could sell it to Matthew?" I said, "Are you really done with it? Are you sure you want to sell it?"
She went into Matthew's room, and asked him if he wanted to buy it off of her. (I don't know where they got the idea of selling their stuff to eachother, I was on a mission to listen to this.)
He tells her he will buy it off of her for 4.00. I was shocked! He went into his crayon bank, and gave her 4.00. I asked him if he was serious about really paying her for it, and he said. "Yes. Of course! I will just end up getting my money back from her by selling her some of the rocks I picked up when we were at the beach last weekend."
Um, ok. **raises brow** He is so conniving! How did I raise these two? And just as I am thinking, there is NO way in heck she would want to buy some silly rocks off of him, she is heard telling him.."Ok, I will probably buy a few rocks from you."
Shakes head.
