Had a dream last night...

That Maddie came to visit me. It was a weird dream..(aren't they always?) Anyways, I was somewhere, meeting some people I had never met before, when they told me that there was someone who wanted to see me. So they led me to a convertable, and there was Maddie sitting in the back, with the top down on the car. I was instantly standoffish, like "Screw you guys for messing with me like that" and I took several steps back in anger. And then the comforting feeling went over me. So hard to explain it. But then I looked at the dog again, and it was her. She didn't have a speck of white on her face. Her "old" face was gone, and she was golden all over, and just fluffy, and smiling from ear to ear..I went over to her, and she lundged at me, the way she always used to..the love lundge. She was happy, sooo happy, and I was so happy to see her. She just was so content, and I was rubbing her ears, and she was panting, and just smiling. I was just hugging her and kissing her..and it felt so good! Then the dream was over. Just like that.

I think that it was her telling me that she is okay. She was telling me "I am not old anymore, Mom. I am a kid again, and I am happy, and healthy, and even though I miss you, I am doing just fine."

I miss her soooo sooo soo much. This was my first dream about her, and I remember every moment of it. Most of the dreams I forget by the moment I sit up in bed. This one has stuck with me all day long. It was pretty amazing to "see" her so young at heart again, and sooo healthy. Her coat was just glorious. I love you so much, Maddie!
