Happy Belated Christmas!

What a whirlwind of the last few days it has been. Hope that sentence made sense. LOL!

As much as it was me that wanted everyone here, it was chaotic, and noisy, and fun, and insane all at once. My sister Dee ended up with food poisoning, or the flu, we aren't entirely sure what happened. Christmas morning was a disaster for her, but she came back later, good as new, and nobody else has come down sick, so hopefully it was just a small bug.

I had so much anxiety over everything, that it was hard to relax, and live in the moment. Matthew was overwhelmed, and at times we wondered what monster we had created, but things have all settled down, and everyone is relaxed, and content.

I got some lovely gifts, a new camera, a Coach bag, (yay! I am now a member of the club!) and a nice hands free system for the van that isn't an ear piece. Thank you, Sparky! Now hopefully I can get it installed soon, and be on the road again, and not feel unsafe that I can't have access to the phone. Here you get a 100.00 fine for talking and driving (while holding a phone). It is a good idea since there are too many accidents on the road with people dialing and driving...

Matthew and Kate were both very blessed this year, and got way too much, but it will be exciting to open a new present out of the box every few days to keep things nice and fresh. Santa brought Kate a trampoline for indoors, that she has used NONstop ever since. She jumps, she eats, she plays, she jumps..she is in jump heaven. Matthew got a Yacker Tracker. I know..what the heck is that? He has one at school..you would have to google it to see exactly what it is for..lets just say it is a stop light that sirens off if it is too loud. He is also in heaven. He also got a ton of books, some games for his leapster..a lot of good stuff. :)

Now it is time to find a place for everything, and clean it all up. I am sad that it is over..I always get sad. So much build up, for one day..and then I have so much anxiety that I can't enjoy it till it is over, and I reflect on how things should have been..next year there is talk of going to Disneyland..I don't think it will happen, but we will see.
