Riley...

You all probably remember me posting about my big lug o love, and his tumor he has under his front arm. Yes, it is an arm. ;) So we have been watching it to see if it has got any bigger, and we have been waiting to have it surgically removed. Mostly because it is a very.costly.surgery.

Ok..long story short. We took him to the vet yesterday for his 6 month check up. They felt his fatty tumors he has on his chest, then felt the large one again. His vet was very impressed that it hadn't grown since she saw him in April. She is now thinking it is also a fatty tumor, just under his muscle since it doesn't bother him, and isn't growing more. Her ideas have changed now, and we have been given the green light to postpone any surgery unless, 1: he suddenly gains a lot of weight, 2: he starts to have a hard time with movement, and 3: he exhibits pain when you touch on the tumor.

Feeling so better about this now...my Riley...how I love you so! I didn't want you to have to have surgery! You are getting up there in age, and I just want to enjoy you as much as I can. I love my doggy sooo sooo much. :)
