Don't we all need to have one, every once in awhile? I woke to a bed-headed little girl asking for Dora, Dora, Dora, so into our bed she came, and we snuggled for a long time. Matt came in not long after, and we all laid around so late this morning. This almost never happens, so I was thrilled we could relax. My house is paying for it, but hey..it is okay.
We got up and had breakfast, then I did something I haven't done in a long time. I played a game on the computer. I used to play games a lot, before having the kids, but then school and then making sure they were cared for became more important (obviously) so I just never played anymore. After wearing myself out playing computer games, (I kid, I kid) I napped on the sofa with Kate. She is sooo cuddly with me lately, and I am eating it up. If she wants to snuggle, the world stops, and we snuggle. She is sooo snuggly soft and warm, and she always smells so yummy, how can you resist?
We didn't leave the house till well after 3pm today. We are in the process of buying a van, so we had a couple of them to check out. Matt was in heaven being able to push all of the buttons and playing with the door close button. I don't know what we are going to do. My personal bank doesn't like that I work "per dium." Evidently to them I am a risk since oooooh I may not work one or two days a week now and then. I was pretty bummed about them not wanting to finance us the other night, but I know it will work out. I make decent money now, and we have excellent credit, so I don't see how it WON'T work out. I had just hoped they would give us the preapproval so we could use that as our bargaining point when you do the dickering back and forth with the salesman, and not be at their financing mercy they do. Oh how I hate buying cars. I love the part of looking at them and choosing what you want, but I hate the actual part of sitting across from eachother for the 6 hour war.
Tomorrow we plan on laying low again, and just catching up on housework. Matt has asked us to take a bike ride to the park, so hopefully the weather pans out for us. :)
