Starting to get really excited..

For Halloween! Yippie!
Mom came over today and cut out the kids' costumes. Matthew is going to be Peter Pan, (of course!) and Katie is going to be Tinkerbell. I struggled with that one forever because Kate is so obviously not a blond, and there is no way in heck she will wear a wig at her age, so we are just going to have her be a brunette Tink. I picked her up some lime green wings last weekend, and now all we need is her dress, and some glitter, and she is good to go. I am going to pull her in her wagon through the mall. All of this just for a couple of hours. Mike is going as Captain Hook, and I am going to be Wendy, thanks to my mom! She found a pattern she has been sitting on, and will sew me up a dress, just like that. I am going to go buy the fabric this weekend. I am thrilled because I spent a lot of time last weekend going through second hand stores looking for a nightgown that wasn't see through, or an old dress that would look like it, (was even going to dye one if the color wasn't right) and had no luck. I was beginning to think I would be the only one not dressed up, but Mom came in, and saved the show.

We have a haunted house to go through this weekend..we had bought tickets when we did the corn maze, but by the time we were done with it, it was so late, so we are going to go back this weekend. I think we will also get some pumpkins, DO HOMEWORK, and clean the house. I have a dinner party to go to Saturday night (YAY! I love getting out of the house for stuff like this!)

Looking to be a busy weekend and we didn't even try to make it one. Whoo hoo!
