Has it already been a week?

Time flies, but it doesn't. Last week was the longest week I have had in a long time. I was so ready for the weekend to get here by last Tuesday. It finally got there, and then we had a busy weekend, as usual. Friday night, Mike got home and we had dinner, then we played games, and Matthew was off to bed.

Saturday, I had an 8am dentist appointment. We did just the yearly exam, did all my x-rays and came up with a plan of action for my crowns I need. I feel relieved they are all done and now I can just look forward to going and getting what I need done.

As soon as that appointment was done, I had to race home, and we all went to the pumpkin patch. We had a great time, the kids loved it, the weather was nice..not too cold, sun was shining, but there was chills at times. Matthew was in a "not wanting to take pictures mood." Oh well..I plan on getting more pics when we get all of the pumpkins put in our flower bed..should be this weekend.

After that, I went and got a haircut. See, this always happens. I go in wanting just a trim, and then I get there, and get brave. I must have got at least 5-6 inches taken off. It is just hair, and it will grow again, but I miss the length already. I got a couple of compliments today, so that made me feel nice.

Later in the evening we went back to the patch, and we did the haunted corn maze in the dark--with Matthew! He begged us all day long to please go, so I asked my mom later in the night to sit Kate, and I didn't tell him we were going, and when we pulled into the farm, HE FLIPPED! He was so stoked. He promised he would just pretend to be scared, and when we saw the line for tickets, I groaned. It was at least an hour wait. Matthew did it in stride though. I can only thank Disneyland for that. Waiting that long takes a lot of patience. Once inside..and it was pretty scary...he did amazing. I was pretty freaked out with all of the goblins waiting for us in there, but he just held Daddy's hand tight, really tight, and after the first few times of people jumping out at us, Matthew ended up just saying 'Hi" to them all. He did great. I can't believe how much he was able to handle it. We didn't get home until 11pm. He was zonked..He really knows how to "hang" with the best of us. Amazing job, buddy!

If I ever get to it, I will post some pics of the patch of us there in the daytime. I got a couple of good ones of us.
