What we did Monday..

I am going to do a couple of different posts, just in case this computer crashes, or also because it might be long.


Today...We OPENED and CLOSED Disneyland. We had an amazing time. We were there right when the gates opened, right at 8am, and didn't leave until about 12:15 am. Yep..about 16 hours in Disneyland. We.were.spent. But, it was sooo incredible! Disney is truly the happ-happ-happiest place on earth! Matthew could barely contain himself as we were riding the parking lot tram over. He had been waiting with baited breath for months to walk into these gates. Boy was he not disappointed. The kid is in LOVE with Disneyland. :)

We had a blast riding as many rides as we could. I think we did almost all of them, minus a handful that we will do in the next couple of days. His favorite by far is Space Mountain. He rode it at least 5 times. Mike promised him he could ride it another five times tomorrow. He also loves Pirates of the Caribbean. He loves the water rides a ton.

We were so tired and spent after spending all day there that I didn't wake up until about 9am this morning. Our hotel gives us a free hot breakfast buffet every morning, but it ends at 9:30, so I about freaked that it was that late! I shouted for everyone to get up, and get on with it..we weren't going to miss our french toast! LOL!

There is just something about being there that makes you feel so happy, and special. I just feel so content there, and it is so safe. Not once have I had to worry whether Matthew was going to run off..of course we are careful with him, but he is pretty happy to just go around with us, in his stroller. We didn't have to wait longer than 25 minutes to ride the rides..(this was only a couple of rides like this) other times we waited only minutes..so yeah, Matthew was pretty spoiled to walk on rides. The software that Mike got us for the trip saved so much time! Can't wait to get pics up..I know I keep saying that..I am uploading some now, I guess I have 325 so far..but most are just point of interest stuff, not really ones of us..will get there though! Promise!
