Saturday...Last Day..

The longest day ever. No, I take that back since the day we drove down was the longest day ever. At least we were better prepared for it, and we were starting out earlier in the day. We totally slept in as long as we could so that we were as rested as we could get. We then headed to breakfast, and had a really good sit down family meal. Then we quickly realized we still needed to pack, and we packed lightning fast! Dee had to go pick up something from the Lego store at Downtown Disney, so we did that on the way out, and then hit the road! We were on the road by 1pm, and we tried to take as few stops as possible. We watched movies in the car, played games..it was such a long ride home. I am still so tired, and I have school in the morning too. Mike was trying to put on a brave face, and I just knew he couldn't drive anymore. I couldn't drive since I was awake trying to keep him awake..I knew it would be me that would get in an accident. I prayed so hard all night long and all day yesterday for safe travels. We were lucky to have so many police on the road with us. I can't remember how may we passed, or how many passed us, but we felt pretty safe knowing they were over patrolling. Dee took over as soon as we got into Oregon, and then drove 2 hours for Mike. He then took back over, and got us into town, and damn did it feel good to see our exit. I clapped sooo hard! LOL! It didn't feel good however when we walked in here to the heat pump being broke. I am way more grateful that we arrived safe, and had no major mishaps on the vacation. A heat pump can be fixed..and we will survive..we bought box fans today and we will deal. Mike is pretty bent up over it, but I am just like..we just had an amazing trip..don't let it cast a shadow!

I just uploaded the rest of my pics off the last of the cameras, and the grand total of all of the pics is about 950. Who the heck takes that many? A lot of them are just random places, or signs, parts of the road..I am sure the amount of pics with us actually in them is like 200 or so...so, way better.

I am sure there is more to report, and I will probably think of things as we unpack, and rest up..the main thing is how much Katelynn has done since we originally left. She is really just changing so much now. She is getting more brave everyday, and is gaining independence. She is a star, and I just admire the way her and her brother love each other..

I got my grades back from last term, and drumroll.....all straight A's! Granted I only had 3 classes, but they were all A's. I have a combined gpa of like 3.59 for all of the terms I have taken so far. I have never had a 4.0, so to see it on this report card, was pretty dang awesome, and damn rewarding, if I don't say so myself. It makes me feel more motivated to keep up the work, for sure!
