7 weeks and counting...

Until our big family vacation, and I can't wait! It is going to get here so fast, and I am in such anticipation of it all. We have downloaded park maps, and we have circled here and there of where we will meet, or what places sound great for the kids. So far, we are going to Magic Mountain (6 Flags), Disneyland, California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farms, Hollywood..and possibly The Ellen Show. I am logging onto her website daily, anticipating the tickets for June to be released, and I am sooo dang nervous that I won't be able to get the tickets, but we are going to try for darn sure.

It will be about a week and a half of non stop fun, and the schedules of our kids are going to get so screwed up, but we can't wait. We have my mom and sister joining us, and then Mike's mom and sister, her son, and also Mike's Aunt, Uncle, and cousin's and their kids are also coming..

Did you know that there is a web program you can buy now that gives you an itinerary of your whole trip to Disney? You plug in what rides you want to do for the day, what shows you want to see, when you want to take lunches, or breaks, and it tallies it all for you and plans your day out so that you don't have to be stuck in long, long, lines waiting to get on rides with cranky kids. Mike and I jumped on that so fast! You are also able to change things up once you are there, via your cell phone, and it will tell you which things are running behind..etc. I don't know about you, but I would rather only wait 15 minutes to get on a ride, vs an hour or two at least! When Mike and I went on our honeymoon, we didn't mind waiting in those long lines, but when kids play a factor, it is a no go. We are going to do the itinerary for our immediate family, and let Mike's family do their own thing the first day or so to see the comparison on how well it works. I think it is genius!

So all of the sickies are out of the house, officially! I don't think that Matthew had full blown stomach flu now that I am looking at it all. To throw up only once, and yes it was a major doozy..but he never threw up again after, and it has been well over 24 hours, I think we are safe to say we are all better, and dangit if I am not ready to get outa the house today! I have been climbing the walls here!
