Well...

Things have taken a turn for the worse here. Matthew got pretty sick around 6 pm, and the pukies have started. I was really pulling for him too. He woke up from his nap in a pretty good mood. He had some pretty bright red cheeks, so I was trying to figure out what it was, as he had no fever. He played, and was his normal rambunctious self, so I figured we were on the road to recovery. At about 5 pm though, he looked awful. He was complaining his head was hurting, and he was laid up on the sofa looking pretty bad. I figured it was because he was weak, so I thought I would make him dinner. He looked down at it and said he couldn't eat it. I told him he should probably get in bed then, and he said. "okay."

Okay?? It is almost only 6 pm, and the sun is shining outside, and you say "Okay?" Alright..my son is definitely not feeling well. He was begging for medicine and kept saying his head hurt..so me not even thinking tummy flu asked him to eat an applesauce so that he could have Motrin..and not on an empty tummy. Well, it went downhill from there. Poor little guy. I feel so bad for him! He hasn't had stomach flu in at least 2 years. I can remember it was 2 Christmas' ago..or right before Christmas. He just doesn't seem to get sick a lot anymore..since we left his last daycare. So I feel like I am doing all of this for the first time. I instantly forgot how I am supposed to handle it all, and of course, Mike is at work. I have sanitized everything from head to toe..and I am going to go get some supplies for him as soon as Mike gets home. I guess he'll be home tomorrow too. I hope that he can keep things down from this point. Fingers crossed!
