WOW!

Katelynn slept through the night last night. I know it was just a fluke, but man was it nice. I woke up at almost 6am and she was snoozing away and I thought I was going to burst so I woke her up to eat and she was pretty happy to be woken to eat instead of her waking me to eat. I think she takes turns growing and sleeping one day, and then the next day she eats all day long and is awake 60% of the day.

She pretty much slept the day away yesterday and it was nice because I was able to get so much stuff done around the house. I laid down with her at 1:30 pm and wanted a "little nap" and I woke again at 4:30 pm! I was shocked I had slept that long! I am so in love with her. I know I say that alot, but I just never, ever knew I would have so much love for my 2nd child as I do my first. I could stare at her forever and ever. It makes my heart fill with so much love knowing I am her favorite person. I don't want that to sound vain..but it is true. She gets fussy when other's hold her and as soon as I get her back in my arms she just relaxes and smiles so big for me. I dread going back to school and leaving her for a few hours each day. I just have bonded with her so much.

So we are just about ready for Thanksgiving. Mom is going to bake her pies and her spice bars tomorrow and pick up the last minute things I need. I checked on the turkey that has been thawing since Saturday and it is still rock hard, so I am afraid he is going to need a nice long water bath either today or tomorrow so that he can go into the oven first thing Thursday morning. All that is left to get the house ready is both bathrooms need cleaned, and then we need a very good vacuum done in here..the kind where you use the attachments under chairs and bookcases. I can see dust bunnies everywhere in here and it is driving me nuts!
