Things we are thankful for-
The wonderful cardiology team at OHSU Hospital..thank you. You all took the greatest consideration on the treatment that would best suit my daughter and without you doing so, I don't know where we would be.
To Dr. Langley...Thank you for taking your time and being so careful operating on my baby girl. I am eternally grateful to you for fixing her heart. I think of you daily and how much you have improved her life.
To Nurse Holly...You were the first nurse to take care of her right after her surgery and we are so thankful for you. You took such great care of her, making her and us feel special. You stayed by her side and put the cutest curls and a bow in her hair. We also loved the way you decorated her bed to make us feel special that she was an individual with a name, and not just another patient. Up until that point, she was just "baby girl." I can remember feeling so happy to come in in the morning and I saw her sign with her name and her hair with the bow in it made her look so adorable. Thank you.
To the NICU nurses...thank you for taking care of her and teaching me how to care for her in the special way that she would need.
To my special friends...Hope, Kristi, Kyle, Jeanna, Tamala, Linny, Cory. I am so blessed to have you in my life. Thank you for your unconditional love and support throughout this whole ordeal in our life. I love you guys so much. I could not ask for better friends.
To our Lord..I said at the beginning of this that I was not a strong person, and you knew I would be after going through this. Thank you. Thank you for answering our prayers and the many others that came in on our behalf. I am now a more compassionate person, and I look at life in a totally new way, and you know I do. Thank you for teaching us to appreciate life, and everything you provide for us.
I thank you and pray daily thanking you for blessing us. I look in my baby girls eyes and know that there is a higher power and I am truly thankful.
