Ok, not totally free. She still needs to pass her carseat test and she should be doing that now if the nurse is as on the ball as he made himself out to be towards Mike.
She has to sit in her carseat for an hour and a half and if she doesn't have any respiratory problems, or her heart rate doesn't dip, or increase all crazy, she is free to go home tomorrow.
I have never felt such jubilee before in my entire life!
I get to take home my baby and be a mommy to her for reals! I am just so over the moon excited for her to be home in her own surroundings. She has so many things waiting for her.
I told all of the family today and they all understand we need to come home on our own terms. We can't have visitors right away, we need our time ALONE.
So I started to pack up tonight and can't believe how many things we have accumulated in our stay here, but we are so dang excited to get home together it doesn't matter.
I gave birth via c-section September 15th, she had heart surgery September 19th, and we are heading home September 25th. How great is that?
God is great!
Thank you to everyone that prayed for us and supported us. We could not have done it without your love and support. I never knew how many people cared for us, and it means so much to Michael and I. We will never be able to repay you..but want you to know how much we love you. We don't take things lightly. We know that there are people out there that don't get to have this type of experience. I just want everyone to know how eternally grateful we are. She will be baptized as a child of the Lord.
Love and kisses to all!
