I believe it was Kyle that said that Mike's dad was an angel watching over Katelynn during this uncertain time in our lives.
I was looking at the registration application that we took out of the rv to bring home this afternoon. It showed Dave's information first, and across from his name was his DOB....08/22/1953.
We are going up to Portland on 08/22/08..his would be 55th birthday.
Ok, some of you may think..coincidence..a good coincidence, but where is the real connection?
Dave had to travel up to OSHU Hospital for all of his cancer treatments. The same campus that we will be going for Katelynn's diagnosis. His cancer center is right next to Doernbechers.
We were getting haircuts today and I mentioned it to Mike's mother that we will be up there on his birthday, and she looked at me and said.."Omg..this is just too surreal for words."
He is our angel. He will be there watching over us on Friday. I have to believe it.

You are so right H, he IS your angel...those coincidences are amazing. If you have to go to an appointment like this, it's nice going into it, knowing you have him on your shoulder watching over you guys....
