Loving this weather.

Thankfully it has cooled down for a bit here. I will take it even if it is just for a day or two.
It started to thunder and there was some pretty decent lightning bolts Sunday evening..woke up to the ground wet yesterday and today there has been really light sprinkling showers off and on. It feels so good to have some cool air flowing through the house and you can just smell the air..smells clean! I don't think it has rained since before July 4th..quite a record for good 'ol Oregon!

So Mike is trying to refinance our house again. Rates are decent here, and well..we could be putting our excruciating house payment towards something else. I also have to refinance my car. We have one of those balloon payment loans on it, and well..that balloon payment is due the end of next month. We are hoping to roll the house and the car all into one loan, and have some money left over to put away..or rather us have more money to put into savings after we make our house payment each month. If we could roll that car payment into the home, it would make a pretty big change.
Sooo we should find out tomorrow if it is a no-go or if we get to go in and sign some papers! Woot!

Not much happened today..was just kinda a bum around day. I guess that we can use a day or two like that every once in awhile!
