Long day...

We got up early today so that we could have the whole day to get things done, and boy am I pooped.
We cleaned out the entire garage, and it is finally ready for the sale next weekend. Man that was a ton of hard work. Matthew did really well..he just played the whole time while we went through tote after tote.. He also was really into seeing his old toys in there and had to try them all out once more. It was really cute!
I got a wild hair, and decided to power wash the house. Yeah, I am pretty much an idiot. I do these things and then badly pay for them later. I need to learn to stop! LOL! I am sore from top to bottom! I didn't want everyone coming over tomorrow to see all of the dirt on the house, and all of the cob webs in the light fixtures outside. It looks so nice now. It just makes a big difference. I am going to beg Mike for a foot rub later on. I am dead.
By then, it was about 6:30 in the evening, and we hadn't eaten since breakfast! Matthew had lunch, but we just kept saying, let's do one more thing..I am not going to do that again. I was so ravenous and I knew we still had to go to Fred Meyers to go grocery shopping.
We finally got home with all of the BBQ stuff for tomorrow and we decided we wanted a trial run on all of the goodies we got, so we grilled up some hotdogs and hamburgers. OMG I have never eaten so fast in my life. It was so good, and just being outside with the house looking so nice was just a nice way to top the evening off.
Mike is dishing out a bath for Matthew as I type. He looked like Pigpen from Charlie Brown. He was so dirty! I have never seen him get so dirty, ever! So he willingly said that he would love a bath, which was good, because he needed it!
I think I am going to be turning in early this evening. Mike tried to get the movie Jumper for us, but it was out everywhere. Fine by me..a foot rub, some candles and my throw blanket on the sofa is all a girl could ask for!
