Weekend Over!

Well, that went fast!
I was supposed to go watch Roller Derby with a bunch of girls this weekend, but crapped out instead. Part of me wishes I would have gone because it would have been fun..but I don't like to go out alone at night and meet up with people when I am pregnant..it scares me. Plus I was so tired. I just wanted some down time at home. We went and played Bingo with Mike's mom, it was sooo much fun. We didn't win but 10.00 each, didn't even come close to what we spent, but that is okay..we still had a great time.
My mom watched Matthew so that we could go out and he threw up all over her. He was playing around gagging and making coughing sounds and before she knew it, he covered her. Yikes! I was like now it is going to be so hard to get her to watch him again so soon!
After that, she said that he fell asleep on her lap, ON THE SOFA. Get out. I have NEVER ever seen this kid fall asleep on the sofa since he was an infant. I guess that since she told him to close his eyes..he just did..and she carried him to bed. WOW. I am still shocked about that.
He was fine today..no barfy's at all..so it was just something that must have happened from him playing around.
He has gone #2 on the potty for almost a week now. I am so proud of my little guy! He now tells us when he has to go..sometimes he mistakes it for pee, but I haven't had to change a icky pull up for some time..He likes to wear his Diego underwear now. It is so fun sometimes to see the independence that they are getting.

Today we just had a late, lazy day...I wanted to crash on the sofa all day and sleep off and on. I need that! I miss being able to be pregnant and nap when I need to nap! it felt good..I had to cut it short since Matthew picked on the dogs alot today..
He also got hurt today. He decided to try to climb Riley, and he just flew right over the top of him and landed on his head. It happened so fast. Mike and I were so scared he hurt his neck, or broke his collarbone. He had his Little People school bus on the floor and it scraped his chest, right under his neck like a rug burn..So we should him by giving him a hand mirror and it was all he could talk about all day was how he had an owie..please let him not be so sore tomorrow.

I went and treated myself (and the new baby) to a new Boppy pillow this weekend. I found this really pretty slipcover. It is called sweet pea and it is that perfect pea green, with little pea pods of babies in it. It is perfect for a boy or a girl..and then once I find out what I am having, I will get an additional slipcover in either pink or blue. Now there is just two more things I really want, and that is the matching carseat to the new stroller we got a bit ago..and a new bouncy chair..once that isn't so cheap like we went the last go around. I want one of those papasan styles..so I have been price comparison shopping. I hope to get it once my severance comes in so that I know we have it and we are done with the big purchases for awhile.

Now we are just sitting here watching all of the Sunday Fox lineup..I love all of these shows! I am going to catch some hubby time before I have to head to bed.
