Not me, but Matthew. Poor little toot. On Christmas to boot too. He started out the other day, remember my post about his runny nose..then he was coughing a little at night. We woke up Saturday to go and see Santa, and he still had the runny nose, but was his happy little self.
By Saturday night, he took a turn for the worse. We all crammed into the car to go and look at Christmas lights, and his cough turned into that croupy bark..well...then it got worse and worse.
So we stayed up all night and tried to get him to get some rest..and it took forever for him to go to sleep.
He had a fever all night, and then most of today...but seems to be feeling better now that the fever has broke. At least I hope it broke. Fingers crossed. That cough was horrid and he started it back up tonight..I am praying that he feels at least better, or the same tomorrow, and not worse!
This was so exciting to be able to really talk up Santa this year, and to see him look so miserable it so sad...I know that if all of the family is here, and he sees all of the things that Santa brought him, it will cheer him up..but it just isn't fun to see him so sad, and miserable. He cries like he is an infant because he isn't feeling so hot...Bummer! I haven't heard him cough since we put him to bed..so hopefully he is getting some good rest!
