More Christmas stuff...

I always get so worked up, and then feel so let down the day after Christmas. I am sure the biggest part of it had to do with both of my favorite guys being sick..but you just can't help but wake up and feel empty inside. Sure there are lots of toys to play with, and still cool things around the house to do..but no more presents. No more Christmas music on the radio..All of the holiday movies are scaling back down...it is all just kinda depressing. Sigh. LOL!

So Matthew is home again sick today. His Dr. wants me to start him on his inhaler again. Hopefully that will help with the coughs. I just wish he was a kid that liked to nap. Sometimes I just want to pull my hair out..he needs rest, obviously. But he doesn't like to nap at all. He has been sleeping really crappy at night too..coughs all night long and still cries out in his sleep, I just wish he would go to bed, and sleep good..I am exhausted! But at the same time, I feel terrible for him because he can't tell me what to do to make him better, or if he needs something that I am not giving him.
But, overall, it was an incredible Christmas..we have Geotrax city over here..my dining room floor is a complete city with several trains. I soooo didn't read the boxes right when I was buying batteries..I thought everything was going to need AA batteries, and come Christmas morning, we opened everything, only to find everything required AAA batteries. :faint I was so ticked at myself, I almost started to cry. My mom tried convincing me that it was okay to wait one more day and to get the right batteries today..yeah right. A kid needs to have his toys with batteries on Christmas morning! So off in the car I went in search of a store open...I'm laughing...I ended up at the AM PM gas station where I cleaned out the whole section of AAA's...30.00 later, I made it back to save the day..LOL! And the funniest thing..not...is that 2 of the trains are already running out of juice! CRAP! On the brighter side of things, I have 48 AA batteries for when you just never know, you may need them!
Mike got alot of great things for his Wii..He had a Wii Christmas..all of the supplies, and extra controls and accessories he will ever need. He was like a kid at the candy store! We were all really blessed this Christmas..it certainly will be one that is never forgot. Btw.....I GOT MY CAMERA! I don't know what in the world I did to deserve it, but that was the shocker of the century. It was a group effort and I'll just say my mouth was dropped when I saw the box. :giggle I cannot thank everyone enough for getting it for me, it really means soooo much that I will never be able to say.
I am a very blessed momma!
