Lot's of changes!

Where to begin?

So...my doctor 3 weeks ago left for FMLA..she needed some personal time off. This left me kinda in a lurch..what to do with me? My doctor can legally be off through December...hopefully she won't be gone that long, but so I have been "training" all over again so that I can keep my hours, and not be laid off..it has been very nice that they have kept me on the schedule.

In fact, I have been working MORE hours than I normally do..which, figure that out?? I have been there more than I have been home, and while I am extremely lucky that they didn't just say, "Aww, so sorry, we will call you if someone gets sick, to come in and cover.." no..I am so grateful that they are willing to keep me there, and give me hours.

Not going to lie, it has been a very stressful situation. People are mad my dr is out..no body can legally tell them why..it's really none of any one's biz why. But either way, hopefully it won't be long, and I can go back to working my 32 hours a week, and be HOME with my kids, and be HOME on Friday's with my husband. I have been asked to volunteer this year on Fridays at Matt's school, and have had to say no the last couple of weeks.

Matt has to have dental surgery. Oye! He has two top teeth that are having serious issues with growing in, and because his adult teeth have come in so fast, there is NO space in his mouth. So out 2 must go, and he goes in for dental surgery in 2 weeks. Hoping he can do it in office with nitrous gas, and not freak out..because they said if he freaks out, they will cancel surgery and he has to go to the HOSPITAL outpatient area and have it done there. So we have been prepping him for what it will feel like to have a mask on his face..I refuse to imagine him having to be put under in a hospital like setting. This has been an issue..why oh why? He has had so many teeth fall out, and then need to grow in this past year and now we are at a stand still of what to do with all these huge teeth. This is going to be the prelude to him getting braces.

Our medical office moves this Friday. We have been waiting on a multi-million dollar makeover to take place for us to move in to the new University Hospital..and are under budget, and 2 months ahead of schedule, so lucky us, we move this Friday. We have been packing like crazy, and having lots and lots of meetings, and get togethers on how we shall proceed. I can't even believe the type of office we are going to soon occupy. It isn't about the looks, but the care you get right? Well, we have the care, and have a great reputation..now we get to move into this beautiful building..along with a lot of our comrades. Soon the office we occupy will be demolished, and thank goodness! It is sooo old, and scary, and just un safe. It is in a very non-desirable location, and I have to walk a ways to get to my car each night. This will be so good for us..
but geesh! you think moving a home is hard? Moving a whole building is another story. HA!

Ok..there is another long update for you. :)
