I am so happy I have kids that love music as much as Mike and I do..and that they love the same type of music we listen to. I think back to when I was a little girl, and I grew up with the oldies, and STILL love them. I think I could have been that girl at the soda shop, wearing my saddle shoes and dreaming about finding that special guy.
As I sit here and type, I have my kids dancing and serenading eachother to Bruno Mars, "Amazing, just the way you are"..and they are holding hands and laughing, and they just love music!
Mike and I are always playing songs for eachother and telling eachother to listen to the lyrics..I think it is sometimes better than giving someone a card. Plus, when you can dance and let loose with your kids in the middle of the house, it is so much fun!
As I end this post, I have my sweet little Kate dancing and singing to Lady Gaga's Bad Romance...
"Ra, Ra, ra ra ra...Gaga ooh la la" word for word. This little one cracks me up.
