My Momma...

Has only 7 radiation treatments left. I can hardly wait for her to run out of that last appointment saying she is DONE! My poor mom is so badly burned from the radiation. She looks like she has been sunburned beyond belief. It is so red, so red and jarring..she has been slathering on the aloe vera, but it is so red. This next week they are concentrating on zapping her incision area in case there are cancer cells hanging out there, waiting to reproduce. I just can't wait to hear the words that she is in remission! I don't know how long it will take, how long the docs wait to do those next bloodwork results...but we are so dang excited for her. She has come so long and far!
