First Day!

Happy First Day of School, my baby boy! I love you so incredibly much. You are the light of my life, the most incredible little man. Mommy and Daddy are soo, sooo proud of how much you have grown, and the direction you are moving in life. You love your sister so much, and you make everyone just beam when you are around us. I tried to hold back the tears as much as I could today for you, but as I walked away from saying good-bye to you, I wanted so badly to have my mom hug me and tell me everything would be okay.

As it turns out, you had an incredible first day. You learned so much, and are so ready to go back. Mom and Dad can't wait to hear all about how great your day is, and want you to make the best of friends. Please make the right choices, and do not settle!

You were so tired when I got you tonight, and fell asleep instantly when your head hit your pillow. I can't wait to see how much better rest you get at night. Matthew, I love you so much, I want this to be such a great experience for you...just promise me, you will STOP growing! :)
