Was my mom AND Dylan's birthday! We celebrated my mom's today, and tomorrow we will celebrate Dylan's at a roller skate rink. Should be lots and lots of fun. I still have to go get Dylan's present..I feel bad I haven't got it yet, but you know how that is.
I am especially excited because some of Mike's extended family will be here, some we haven't seen since we went to LA. I can't wait!
I had my first paid day of work the other day, and it was so much fun. They had us holed in at the old hospital all day, doing all kinds of crazy orientation stuff. They know how to make it fun, and it was a ton of fun! I got my official photo, and filled out all of my pay check information..sooooo exciting. I feel soo, so very proud to be an employee there. To me, this is SO huge. So huge! I feel like everything we had to go through with my job loss has come full circle. Everything. I think (and especially after reading The Shack) that God was all along saying, "just to be patient.." That may sound cheesy to some, but it really is just how I feel. I go in for 3 days next week, and then I have my HUGE certification exam next Friday. I am pretty nervous about it, since I haven't had to do a lick of studying for some time. I just want to get it over with, so hopefully I do well. I have to, otherwise I have to pay another 200.00 to take it again! Wish me luck!

Congrats H....how exciting! I love hearing about it...it's just awsome, and you should be so proud of yourself! And I truly, firmly, forever believe that God puts us where we need to be and that means sometimes going through the bad to get to the good....love you!!
