A mish mash of an update, rather..
Went to the beach last weekend, was great! Had so much fun swimming, lounging in the hotel room. On Saturday, we went to the Outlet Mall..I thought I would be out of control, finding tons of deals that I needed to buy the kids. Nah..I felt like I would be buying to just buy. We couldn't afford to be doing that. I went to Gymbo, and was disappointed because I can get it all online so much cheaper. I think we walked away spending a total of 30.00.
Later that day, we went back to the room, had pizza and Matthew watched his movies he had been excited to see, Mike and I took turns playing games on the computer while Katelynn napped..it was so relaxing, and just so much fun!
Katelynn had had a hard time going to bed the first night, so we got a pack and play for the 2nd night, and it was so much better. She also had been dealing with the aftermath of her H1N1 shot, and was so cranky, but still had managed to have a good time.
This week has been so stressful, and so hard. Lots and lots to do at school to finish up the term. Tueday I had a power point presentation to give in front of the class, and I was soooo nervous. I had the classic shaky voice, and it ended up only being 10 minutes or so long, but it seemed longer. I did good though! I got my report back on it, and got an A, so I was happy.
Now we are on finals week next week..I can do it, I can do it. I want to do well so much.
Katelynn and I started to feel under the weather on Wednesday if I can remember right. I came home Tues and she was making a weird sound when she laughed..you know the sound in your voice the kids make when a cold is coming. I was not happy. So it has progressed in the last few days to a fever last night. She didn't sleep but an hour or two throughout the night, so I called her peds office today to see what they thought we should do. Since she had flu-like symptoms, they wanted to see her, so I took her in, they swabbed her nose, and it came back negative, so they swabbed her again, and sent it to the lab. We will get the result tomorrow, but in the meantime, her ped has her on tamilfu to bust it out. At last check, her temp is at 103. I am soooo freaking nervous. She has never been over 101 or so. I hope that she is so much better tomorrow. I can't stand to see her so sad, and sick!
