Went to the beach today..

I woke up this morning, and decided we needed a field trip to the beach, and we were out the door by 11am. It was a little touch and go as it was pounding down rain, and we saw a ton of lightning along the way. I was beginning to think I had a bad idea about going as it was raining non stop..but as soon as we made it to the beach, it was lovely! It wasn't sun-shining, but it wasn't raining either. We were able to wear short sleeved shirts, and light hats, and we had a blast! We played for about 3 hours on the beach..played in the sand, ran into the ocean..it was so much fun. Afterwards, we went to A&W and had root beer floats, then came home! What a lovely way to end the day...I posted a ton of pics onto Facebook..I know! I need to post them here, but my internet doesn't like posting pics to my blog for some reason. I will try tomorrow if I can. I am headed to bed! I am one tired pup!
