Not a lot going on..

Really the last couple of days. Thursday and Friday I started power cleaning the house. I guess it isn't really able to be called Spring cleaning since summer is almost here, but man, do we need some major cleaning here.

Got the front room and kitchen cleaned pretty good. I need to do the super duper deep clean in the kitchen still. You know the kind..where you are armed with long yellow rubber gloves and an old toothbrush to clean out all of the nooks and cranny's. I dread it, but it needs to be done.

I got all of the laundry done, and for the most part, it is put away. I need to put away one more load, but that can wait until tomorrow.

We ran a ton of errands over the weekend..didn't really go out and do anything particularly fun, but it was just nice to leave the house. I got myself a new camera today. I didn't need it per say, but my old point and shoot was getting to be pretty outdated. We got a nice coupon in the mail for Staples, so off we went. It is a Canon, and I just finally got done reading the manual on the computer, so now I feel like I know how to use it. What happened to the camera companies sending you the information you need in those little books? You have to use the cd that comes with your camera to be able to find out how to use it, and that is annoying to me. I like being able to refer to the booklets! I guess it is cheaper to throw it on to a cd now. Oh well!

We wore Matthew out pretty bad today. He couldn't even chew his dinner, he was so tired. I told him to just spit it out onto his plate, and go to bed. I have not seen him this tired in a long time. Hopefully he gets some good rest tonight!

Mike has a cold. It is funny how he always denies he has one. It takes him 3 days to admit that he in fact does have one, when I knew a few days ago he did, just by the way he was talking. So now, I am wondering who else is going to be blessed in the house to get it. I just hate him getting sick, and then I hate everyone else getting sick too! Ugh! It is summer! We are all supposed to be well for the season!

Off to watch Kendra. I have been waiting forever for this show to start!
