In desperate need of a siesta!

My goodness sakes..I need to get out of here for a minute and relax! This term ends officially next week, and it can't come any sooner for me. They are cramming last minute projects down our throats like you wouldn't believe, and throwing extra tests in there too for the people that want extra credit. In one class, I need to write a paper, put my journal into format form, make a portfolio, and also make a transition book all by next Tuesday. I have 4 other finals I need to study for as well. Needless to say, I stopped by the store on my way home and got a bottle of wine. I NEED to unwind! Just one glass otta do me.

I got my schedule for next term. I was very worried what was going to happen as my school does what they call "the wheel." Meaning that they teach the same classes every other 4th term..I wonder if I worded that right. In other words, the classes I took my first term are all being taught again on this one coming up. Since I took 2 terms off, then I am about to complete one, all of the classes would be repeat classes for me. I was stressing they would say I would have to take this term off, but I got lucky. I am able to take 3 classes I would need to come back and finish anyways. So...I will only go to school on Mondays and Wednesdays for next term! I am so lucky! My financial aid will be fine too since I won't be considered falling below half status..so that is wonderful! I am really looking forward to 4 day weekends, and then having Tuesdays off. Kate will be really mobile in the next few weeks, and this gives me a lot of time with her..and it also means I can keep on nursing her! My milk has been decreasing a little bit, but the extra time home will allow me to build it back up. I am so thrilled I will have the extra time to clean house, do homework, and spend time with my kids without stressing out. I will have so much time to do my homework now and it will be EASY! Thank, God!

Now all I have to look forward to after the next term is...going to Cali! Gosh...it is all we can think about! Woot!
