Little Miss Madilyn is going to come into the world. My very dear friend, Sadie is about to be a mommy to her take home baby, and I can't wait to meet her!
She "technically" has about a week and a half now, but I think once she goes to the Dr in the morning, he is going to say that she needs to be induced..like now! She went and had an ultrasound today, and she is measuring 40.5 weeks, and Madilyn is showing weighing via u/s about 9.5 lbs. Get that baby out, pronto! Her Dr wasn't there while she was getting her u/s today since he was in a delivery, so she goes back tomorrow to see what he says.
Sadie had initially failed her glucose test, but passed the 3 hour test. Well, about a month or two ago her Dr thought by the way she was all of a sudden growing at a rapid way, that **maybe** she did have a glucose condition afterall, but that they would monitor her.
The poor thing! She has been miserable for weeks now because her belly just grew so fast, and it is just weighing on her so much. She is a nanny to 2 very active little boys, so she has had a rough go of it trying to keep up with them and not getting much rest. Her bosses let her go 2 weeks ago to start her maternity leave, and she was so relieved..but she also has been super ancy since she thought that baby was probably going to be coming last week.
Sadie and her hubby Josh had to say goodbye to their first baby girl, Makenzi, at about 6 months gestation due to baby having trisomy 18.
It took her and her hubby some time to get to the point of trying again, and boy has this pregnancy been a whirlwind pregnancy for her. It started off that she was initially pregnant with twins, but then only one sac ended up developing, and this is where she is now.
All of us girlfriends are on pins and needles waiting to meet this little miracle, and I am hoping that she has her by the end of the weekend!
YAY Madilyn! Come out and meet everyone!
Sadie, I am just so insanely proud of you. I love you sweets!
