Whoa!

Christmas is EIGHT days away. Let the panic set in. OMG! I got my Christmas cards done tonight. They should have been sent 7 days ago, but they just got here. I have a little last minute things to do, but will have to wait until this weekend to do them since it is solid ice outside. I don't dare try to take Kate out there in it, it isn't worth endangering her.
I wanted to go to the post office tonight, but Mike forbid me to go since he saw a guy try to turn the corner tonight on his way home (along the road to go to the post office) and he spun out and almost hit a power pole. We have so much ice and snow built up along the sides of roads, and it is going to get worse tomorrow and Thursday. We are supposed to start with freezing rain and then get another 3-4 inches of snow.

I did dream of a white Christmas, I guess I had just hoped to have had all of my errands done before it turned white here. The dogs are in hog heaven here though. They keep asking to go outside to play in it and I don't know how their pads on their feet can stand it. I go out in my rain boots and my feet freeze. Right now we are holding at 15 degrees. That is some coooooold weather for my town. COLD!
