Oh those heartstrings!

Tonight as we were sitting here Matthew says to me out of nowhere, "I really missed you when you were in Portland."
It really surprised me he said that, and I repeated what he said and said, "Really Matthew? I missed you too!" And he then said, "I want you to do that again. I want you to have Katelynn in your belly again." Now that could be read as one of two ways. Either he is feeling sentimental at such a young age, or he really wants his sister to go back where she came from! I don't think it is the latter of the two. He truly loves his sister and tells me all of the time now how much he loves her.

Mike said to me that earlier last week Matthew was making mention of my Portland trip and he was asking Mike all kinds of questions about how long I was there. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful little boy. I have nights where he is a complete spaz to handle and I do more yelling than talking, but then there are nights like tonight where he says the sweetest things to me. I just love my little man!
