Is it over?

Man, I feel whipped! I kept Matthew home today due to his ever lingering cough and snotty nose he has had since last week. I am spent! It is so hard being home all day long with both kids. I just am so frazzled by the end of the night. Katelynn is starting to get a snotty nose now, and I am super freaking out about that. It seems like she has had this ever ending clogged/runny nose situation since we have brought her home, and now she is starting it all over yet again. I guess that is the way it works. They just keep passing it back and forth to each other right?

I am still ho-humming over taking her to the ENT specialist up at the hospital this month. I put a call into her cardiologist today to get his opinion on the situation. It came under his recommendation that she see the ENT due to her tracheomalacia, and also her vocal cords being paralyzed, but now that she has that good and strong voice, I am not really thinking it is necessary to take the drive. The only thing I keep thinking about is that she is a noisy breather, so hopefully he will give his opinion on what he thinks of it all. It would be just myself taking her all of that way, and I just fear the drive alone with her. I should hear back from him tomorrow and hear what he has to say about it and if I should cancel or not.

Other than that..just trying to get some rest after the whole long holiday. We are going to keep all of our decorations up throughout the weekend because my older sister is coming up for a visit. I thought it would be nice for her to have a decorated house to come to since she didn't decorate down there. Although, I am really itching to get it all down, and packed away for another year.

I feel like I am forever cleaning my kitchen! My younger sister was over all week long, and she cleaned it non stop for me as well since she wanted to pitch in, and it just ends up being the catch all room for every little thing. I know it is because all of our tables are covered in decorations, and we are out of room everywhere, so I am sooo ready to see a plain house for a change.

I am going to get some rest in before Mike gets home. Here is a recent pic of my sweetheart. I just LURVE her so much!
