Christmas Shopping

Has officially begun in this house. We went last night to Toys R Us because they were having a pretty good sale on their fake food..buy one, get one free. We found Matthew a play kitchen (finally) on Craigs List that I am going to go pick up today. I would have liked to find him a larger one, but I am not going to complain much because the price is right and I believe he will have fun with it. Once he is done with it, we can just pass it along to the next kid that will appreciate it.

I was pretty close to buying one brand new last night, but really refrained because I just really can't fathom spending that much on plastic. LOL!

So today we are going to get a couple of more things to start to complete it all. I want to get done as soon as we can so that we can relax the last couple of weeks before Christmas.

Still haven't decided if we are going to go to the ranch for Thanksgiving. I think it will mean I will have to board the dogs, and I am not convinced that is such a good idea. The kennels are always so noisy, and it doesn't seem all that comfortable for them. I can see going down for the day maybe, but for the whole long weekend, it just doesn't make sense to me at this time. We only have a little over a week to decide since they will want to know in advance who is all coming, so we are going to need to make a decision.

Okay, that is all for me today. I need to get off my arse and get moving along.
