After practically begging to leave the house today, we finally left at 4pm. Matthew needed a nap so bad that I had to go..just anywhere and drive around. Matthew was asleep within 5 minutes of leaving, thank goodness, and we just took it easy. We drove out to the country again, and we found a house for sale that we would LOVE to buy someday. Well, we all know it will sell before we can get it, but it is fun to dream isn't it?
I gave Mike the other Willow Tree figurine I had been holding onto for some time. It is called "New Life." It is a couple, and the father is holding a newborn baby with the mother crouched behind the father looking over his shoulder. It is really sentimental to me, and he really enjoyed it too. I had wanted to give it to him after she is born, but things will be so hectic for awhile, so I gave it to him tonight.
We then went to dinner with my mother and sister. It was nice..busy though! I felt like everyone was staring at my belly..maybe not, but I just feel so big right now, I can't wait to see my belly deflate a little bit. It is going to be so weird to see Matthew again without a baby inside my tummy. I wonder if he will notice?
Other than all of that, we are home for the night. Mike has computer issues that he has been working on all day long, I am just lounging as much as I can. I am so itchy and uncomfortable that I just feel good sitting down.
Tomorrow will be my last post as a mommy of one, and I am so emotional thinking about it. I am so glad that I have had my blog to release my feelings to this whole time. I am so thankful to all of my friends that read too..without your encouraging comments throughout this journey with me, I wouldn't know what to do. Thank you!
