It's been a week..

And I still wanted to post some pics of the shower..some of the gift pics. One of my all time favorite gifts was what my mom made. Well, first of all..she gave me this set of lovely boxes. These were hat boxes, keepsake boxees, just anything you want to put in there type of boxes. They are so beautiful. They have purple hydranges all over them and they are made of that strong cardboard. I have never seen any like these, and I love hat boxes!
So inside each box was an incredible gift. She made Katelynn 2 different bonnets, so adorable! One has ladybugs all over it, and the other is a sweet yellow print. Then she got Katelynn her first baby doll..wearing a ladybug costume. Just precious..ok..off to my favorite gift. It was the hand made blanket she knitted for her. I know I mentioned earlier she was silly for thinking that I wouldn't want to use one of my own blankets I made for Kate for the hospital pic..but I was truly blown away at this blanket, as was everyone else..

We got about 8 packages of diapers..even a few cases! We are really stocked up!
Tons of clothes, shoes and socks..My mom joked that her middle name should be Imelda after Imelda Marcos..the woman famous for having all of those shoes, well you know what I mean..she was famous for all of her other things too.

Again, it was such a great day. We had enough prizes that I think only a few people didn't go home with a prize..That was pretty cool. It seems like when I go to these things that there are only like 3-4 chances to get a prize..(not that you go for a prize, but you know you all want to win one) and everyone had a great time with the games, socializing and food. Not alot was talked about regarding Portland, so it was just a great day in general. No sadness..just a nice party to celebrate what was to come. I wish we could have a thank you party to thank everyone for coming and being here and supporting us. We are really blessed to have such caring people in our lives that love this baby girl already.

My mom made Matthew a quilt and matching pj's in this cute jungle print..she wanted to make sure he had something to open so he wouldn't feel left out. It was very sweet of her to do so and he really loved his new blankie!

This is where Katelynn will sleep when we get home from the hospital. I love this basinette!

And really, the only picture of my top that I loved so much. I was wearing this duster over it since it was kinda cold in there with the air on..but I love all of the beading on it.
