A few things about today..

I haven't updated in a day or so, nothing really new to report. Today was a more exciting day. I got to get 4 EKG's done on me at school today. I volunteered to go first so I could get it out of the way and on my chart, and it went really well. I had no idea there wasn't really that much to one after people talking about how serious they can be when they go to the Dr.

I also went to the Dr. today to have my normal appointment and had to take my glucose test. I won't find out the results until next week. I hope I pass, but will deal if I don't.
We talked about scheduling my c-section and she agreed she would schedule me for 39 weeks, and if Katie wants to come earlier, then we can attempt a vbac. I get to deliver for sure at the new hospital! It is set to open next month..so I am pretty excited about getting the chance to deliver somewhere so new and clean!

I had an email from my father the other day asking me if I was in dire straits for money and if so, he would pray for me. He offered to send me 30.00 to help me out. I declined, because, lets face it, if I was hurting for 30.00, I would be in serious trouble, right?
Mike brought in the mail today on break and there was a letter from my dad. He said, "You should open this..I wonder if he sent you money afterall." There was a really nice letter in there, and as I unfolded the letter, a check fell to the floor. I looked at it and about died. Let's just say it is enough to get Katelynn the crib set I have been harping Mike to buy and also enough to buy a dresser for her. I have tried to call him this evening, but I am only getting the answering machine. I don't know where he came up with the money and what he wants me to do..I just have so many mixed emotions about it.

Lastly, I picked up Matthew from daycare this evening and he wanted to go to Aunt Michelle's and cousin Dylan's right after..(they live right next door) so we went over for a bit. I cringe going over there since Dylan is so territorial on his toys. I mean, what kid isn't at this age? But Matthew can't even look at lint on the floor without Dylan freaking..so we deal with it the best we can. I was trying to talk to Michelle when all of a sudden Matthew started shrieking bloody murder. He had tried to draw on a magna doodle when Dylan leaned over and BIT a mouthful of Matthew's cheek. I am so utterly upset about that. That is totally unacceptable. Michelle was equally upset and disciplined Dylan immediately, and Dylan has since called to say he was sorry. I am just floored. Never have I had to worry that Matthew would be bit by his cousin like that. None of our kids are biters..and now I am worried as heck that he will do it again. It sucks because his face is clearly going to bruise in the shape of Dylans teeth as there is blood on the surface of the skin now. I worry that Matthew will start to bite because of this. Damn! We are going to a kids festival this weekend where I planned on getting his pics done for an ID kit that they are doing, and dammit there is going to be a nice bite mark on his face. Ughhhh!

So there is my day for ya! What a busy day this ended up being.
