Has just called me to tell me that she has a heart beat in her belly! This is my friend that had to deliver her last baby very early, and she lost her to trisomy 18. She had gone for her first scan 2 weeks ago and the ultra sound tech found 2 sacs, but no babies yet. She was measuring alot earlier than she thought she was, so was told to come back. We had been crossing our fingers that there would be at least a viable baby and there is one! Of course she is sad that one sac never developed..but happier than anything she has a baby with a heartbeat inside.
She is very scared that she may be told again that there is something wrong, but we are all trying to be as encouraging as we can. She will make a great mom!
The weekend has finally arrived! I am so tired..I tried to get everything tagged for the sale tomorrow morning, and got it mostly done. I will need to finish when my mom comes over this evening. She will be bringing an additional table for me to lay my odds and ends on. Mike listed the sale on Craigslist and in the local paper so we have double exposure. I am going to go to sleep early tonight if I can so that I can be well rested. I slept really good last night. I woke up thinking I had overslept! You know that feeling..my alarm was about to go off in 3 minutes, so it was a good thing.
I got 100% on one of the tests I took today..and probably 70% on another. Oh well. I knew I could have done better, I just was having a hard time with what we needed to study. I will do tons better next time. This was the class we learned how to stick eachother with today. That was alot of fun. I was pretty nervous looking at all of the supplies sitting in front of me. All of the blood vials and misc supplies were making my tummy turn..but I ended up going first and had a blast with it! I think I will really enjoy this part of class for awhile..I am nuts for saying that, but I will!
