Let the weekend begin!

I am so looking forward to these 3 day weekends! I am going to need them too. I took my first quiz today. I think I did well! She won't let us see them until later next week. The torture! I have another quiz to study for. It is mostly medical terms that we have to memorize. Lots of root words, prefixes, and suffixes. I have 30 to study for this weekend. I am getting the hang of it. We watched a video today in Medical Terminology that made me wonder why we were watching it, when the teacher could have been teaching us. She sat there while this lady on tv taught us new words. I kept looking at the video, and then the teacher..and was just stumped. Why do we have to watch the tv to learn new words when she can write them on the board and narrate the meanings to us? Must be nice to be paid to sit and watch the videos too and not have to do alot of teaching. Hmmmm. Weird.
But other than that, I have about 6 chapters to read..still have to do my heart assignment..but I will do that tomorrow.
I got chosen for a job from the unemployment office that I had to reply to today. If you deny the response, you risk losing your benefits. So I did what I was supposed to, so we will see what happens.
Going to get ready to put things in the garage sale this weekend. My mom has volunteered to come over and help me so I can have a Friday-Saturday sale. I refuse to do a Friday sale alone since Mike will be at work..and I get skiddish with people coming over to our house for a sale anyways, I don't want to be here alone. So I am stoked she is so willing to help me out.
We are driving up to Ikea bright and early Saturday morning to FINALLY get Matthew's bed. I need to have his Backyardigans bed set available to sell in the garage sale so we need that new bed. I hope he doesn't get sad to see it gone. =( I would feel bad..but it is time to move on from the character stuff..and onto his bigger bed. Plus, if I sell the whole group, I can make more!
Other than that..we just plan on relaxing as much as we can.
