It's over already..

That was the fastest 3 day weekend I have ever had. Friday blew right over my head. I had an appointment with the state office on getting a scholarship, and should know more info by this Wednesday. If all is approved, I can stop looking for work. I am ready to just have to worry about just school.
Saturday was spent all day long at Ikea. We even ate lunch there in their little cafe they have, and that was a treat. Matthew was having a hard time for some reason. He didn't want to really eat, and wanted to just fidget all day long..but I guess that is expected since he was in the carseat for so long to get there, and then in the mini shopping carts that they have there.
We finally got his bed frame, and then Mike got a new unit to store his computer. It is fabulous because it is like an armoir..still can't get spell check to recognize that right..so please forgive me. LOL! Anyways, it all closes up with nice doors, and it is soo tall that it almost hits the ceiling, so we are hoping that all of his stuff fits.
He spent all night putting it together, and still wasn't finished this morning..so I put Matthew's dresser together, and then we put it finally in his room with it attached to the wall. He seems pretty stoked to have all of this new stuff, so we will see.
We then had to go buy the actual mattress and box spring today and got that all done. He is happily sleeping in his new bed..so far, so good. I had forgot to go buy that vinyl cover for his mattress since he still pees through the night so we had to save a bit of the plastic from the bed and laid it under his sheets. It is annoying to hear, but hopefully I can remember to get that covering tomorrow.
It was nice to be able to all sit in the same bed and read bedtime stories together for a change. He is so high off the ground, and it makes me so nervous, but he is happy and that is all that matters.
I also had to cram in a TON of studying this weekend..I had got alot of it done on the way up to Portland yesterday, but not at all on the way back and then I was just too unmotivated today and tried to finish the best I could. I can already guarantee that I will be sawing logs when Mike comes home on break tomorrow. I am already looking forward to that nap!
Nighty Night!
